Working Bee at Isaacs Ridge repeater site – volunteers needed

Good evening all, we are planning on a maintenance visit on the weekend of 4/5 November at the Isaacs Ridge repeater site. This will mostly entail trimming/removal of bushes, weed whacking and fire hazard reduction at the site.

Larger tools are already arranged, but small hand tools like secateurs, glove and individual PPE will need to be provided by participants. We anticipate that there will be a fair volume of brush needing to be hauled from the site to the green waste dump, so in particular need a number of people with 4WD’s and a trailer. Note, the track up to the site is usually not 2WD friendly and needs a 4WD with a bit of clearance.

If you are able to put aside a couple of hours and physically able to assist, please let us know via the committee email address (committee@crarc.org.au) of your availability and if you have a suitable vehicle and trailer for the working bee.

Regards

Matt
