This information is for the benefit of scheduled (and future) presenters at the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club.
It is well understood, that presenting at a club meeting can be a new and sometimes daunting experience for some, and the information provided here is intended as a guide to the presentation equipment/resources in use and available at the club.

The most common presentation format that most presenters provide is Microsoft’s Powerpoint. Libre Impress generally handles opening of Microsoft Powerpoint presentations with little, or in most cases no changes. However we do recommend that you install the latest Libre Office https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/ on your Windows PC (it’s opensource) and test opening your Powerpoint presentation using Libre Impress just to make sure. We have installed the additional Microsoft core font libraries on this PC, to further increase the possibility that you presentation looks the same. However we recommend the Arial font if you are starting afresh with your presentation (on Powerpoint or Impress). To get the maximum impact from your presentation, we recommend 16:9 aspect ration, although the projector does handle the 4:3 aspect ratio as well.
We have used this for a while now with our own presentations, and have had no issues.
You are also welcome to bring your laptop to the presentation if you have any concerns. If you have not done many presentations with your laptop, please arrive a touch early so you can confirm it is all working before your presentation starts.
