CRARC meeting tonight.

Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club

CRARC meeting tonight.

CRARC May Monthly Meeting

Since the risks to our members from Covid19 are high at a face-to-face meeting the committee has opted to postpone them until Covid19 (and other contagions) have subsided enough to make the risks manageable.

In the meantime we have attempted to run our meetings online via streaming or videoconferencing.  Unfortunately we have not been able to source a local presentation for tonight’s meeting so to help you get your fix of Amateur Radio content have a look at the following two recent overseas presentations.

https://youtu.be/0lChysoSqDQ  – Jim G3YLA, radio ham and meteorologist, gives a fascinating talk on weather and propagation at the Denbu Dale Amateur Radio Society on the 12th May.

https://youtu.be/hOWoWQueHjI?t=935 – An interesting and approachable presentation by Michelle W5NYV on digital signal resilience using examples from M17 at the Palomar Amateur Radio Club on the 5th May.

We plan to return to regular online meetings in June, and hopefully face-to-face meetings when conditions permit.
