Isaacs Ridge 2m analog repeater and D-Star back on air.
After being off air for a number of years due to adjacent site interference the Isaacs Ridge 2m Analog repeater is now operational on its new permanent frequency.
TX (Output): 147.350 MHz
RX (Input): 145.750 MHz, (-1.6 MHz offset)
The repeater requires a 91.5 Hz CTCSS Tone to access, and also transmits a 91.5 Hz tone so you can use tone squelch.
The VK1 D-Star repeater is also back on air after its frequency change.
TX (Output): 147.1125 MHz
RX (Input): 145.5125 MHz, (-1.6 MHz offset)
NOTE: At this time it is still operating with the callsign VK1RWN as we’ve been unable to source the proprietary Icom software that would let us change the callsign. Once we obtain this software the callsign will be changing to VK1RBM.
Much thanks to Phil VK1PL, Carl VK1KCM, Bob, VK1ED, Graeme VK1IO, Greg VK1ZO and Rod VK1CBR for work up on Isaacs Ridge and assistance in retuning the cans.
Also, work is progressing on restoring internet access to our equipment on Isaacs Ridge. We’re hoping to have something in place reasonably soon.
