Topics this month are expected to include : 

• Collins radio – continued – quite a few members interested in this old unit to see if it can be resurrected back to working order….
• Bring your Quansheng Radios (especially if you have modded it). Best way to learn about it, is discussing what others have found out about certain features. These Quansheng radios are getting a fair bit air play on quite a few well known Amateur Radio podcasts and YouTube videos over the last month, especially with the release of the V3. They will never surpass or replace the more well known brands, but for the low cost, and the features you get, they are great value.
• Whatever handheld you have, there have been so many new ones come out, great to see other models and features, so let us know about yours
• Also great way to dust the cobwebs off, ready for a possible (still in planning stages) 2m or 70cm sprint on the 5th Wednesday of this month (these only happen 4 times a year, so we try to make use of them)

Tech Night is about members coming together informally to discuss subjects and projects relevant to AR and assist members in practical advice and assistance with technical issues that they may have. During the evening the Radio Room will be operational for all members to utilise.

Doors open at 6:30pm

And as usual, tea/coffee and biscuits will be available, and for those that are interested, pizza will be available at $5.00 a small plate.
