SUMMARY:Monthly General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nOn the 4th Wednesday of each month\, CRARC hold a General Meeting for members and visitors. \n\n\n\nThe May meeting is planned to provide an opportunity to construct an antenna – at this stage we anticipate it will be the “flowerpot” 2m vertical 1/2 wave Coaxial Dipole (either with a radome or as a rollup construct). \nCRARC will supply cable\, connectors and any other materials for the construction of ‘flower pot’ 2m antennas for those who pre-register for the night (further information to follow including details on registration).  There will be a nominal charge (to be determined)  to cover this cost of materials and we will ask attendees to RSVP nearer the date so we can plan accordingly.  Some specialised tools such as crimp tools and hot air guns will also be available for use on the night\, but basic tools (side cutters etc) should be brought along by attendees. Test equipment such as a VSWR meter or network analyser will also be available for use at the construction nights to check the new builds.
